Winter tires don't like summer! They wear faster.

Winter tires are made from a softer rubber compound which causes them to wear faster in warmer temperatures.

In Colorado, late April/early May is about the right time to make the switch over to your non-winter tires. Don't be cruel and head to your favorite tire place (Gallito Tires of course!) to make the swap.
